LAD/Blog #28: Keating-Owen Child Labor Act

The Keating-Owen Child Labor Act was a law meant to address issues involving child labor. It limited the sale of goods produced by people 14 years old or younger, mines were children 16 and younger worked, or any business where children worked during nighttime hours. The law was only in effect for a short period of time, as it was ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.
