LAD/Blog #27: MLK Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" Speech

In his "I Have a Dream" speech, Martin Luther King Jr. described several dreams that he had for the future. They were:

  • That the United States would live up to the founding principle that all men are created equal
  • That the sons of slaves and slaveowners would be able to get along
  • That all states would become areas of freedom and justice
  • That people could be judged by their character instead of their skin color
  • That children of all races would be able to become friends
